Model as Muse Exhibition at the Met

Before my Mom arrived in New York, she had one request and that was to visit the Met and check out the "Model as Muse" exhibit which features the key-players in the high-fashion world of modeling from 1947 to 1997.  Peggy Moffitt, Twiggy, Cheryl Tiegs, Iman, Jerry Hall, Linda Evangelista, Naomi Campbell, Amber Valetta...I could go on forever!  Even Brooke Shields and her Calvins.  I don't want to give away too much and spoil it for everyone, but I've been shamlessly wearing the t-shirt created by Marc Jacobs every chance I get.  Maybe one day I will break down and wash it!  The Model as Muse: Embodying Fashion through August 9, 2009.  The Metropolitan Museum of Art is located at 1000 Fifth Avenue at 82nd Street (212.535.7710).  T-Thurs (9:30-5:30), F, S (9:30-9) Sunday, (9:30-5:30) closed on Mondays.  Go and tell your parents you spent the day at The Met..Make them proud!Enter Text Here
